Lexington F.D. info request

I'm brand new to this site. I've been enjoying the topics as well as listening to the Lexington F.D. online. It appears to be offline now though. Any suggestions?

Another question...what recommendations do you guys have on a scanner capable of picking up the trunking system associated with the LFD?

Any EDACS capable scanner will work fine. I mostly use an "antique" Pro-94, which is VERY EASY to manually program and a Pro-97. Both are quite sensitive scanners. I also have an old Pro-92, but it is very deaf unless I am within a mile or two of the system. I doubt, however, that you will be able to hear this system in Covington with any scanner or antenna combination.
