Not exactly scanner related, but…
Visiting family in Lexington and while driving by the WLAP/WMXL transmitter site on Russell Cave Rd, noticed that the building front shows the call signs WLAP, WMXL and WWY.
What the heck is/was WWY? I’ve done a search and can’t find a thing.
PS - I know I should have been watching the road, but every time I see a broadcast TX site I just have to look.
