License upgrades available

I tested and received my tech license in 1961 (a long time ago I know). I was upgraded to a general license when the requirements were lowered. As I am now getting involved again where would I find information to see if my status might have been upgraded without my knowledge. Thanks in advance.

You can look up your callsign on the FCC ULS web site to see the current status.

There are no automatic changes to amateur radio licenses except expiration if you don't renew it.
Nothing like that has happened since they dropped the code requirement and allowed people with old Technician Class licenses (who passed the General Class writtent test when Technician and General used the same test) to upgrade to General by showing proof of holding a Technician license issued before the cutoff date.
