According a news report. Lifeflight will be stationed daily in Galesburg from Peoria. It was stated that the move was to have the air ambulance to a more central location.
There are air ambulances already based in Burlington, Quad-Cities and Quincy. Lifeflight has aircraft based at Peoria, Rockford & Peru. According to the website they also have a spare based at Peoria.
