I have been listening to 159.555, the Wickenburg channel for Lifeline Ambulance. When they tone out they usually use multiple tone sets. Most often the voice message starts during (rather than after) the second tone set.

They also often have a double beep on many of the transmissions. I presume this is due to some sort of link or patch.

Does anyone know:
  • Do they link or patch to RWC or some other channel from 159.555?
  • Has the voice being covered by the second tone set been an issue for them?

I believe their call taking/dispatch (Lifeline and AMR) is handled by one of the multi-dispatch centers and have been for a couple of years now if that helps with the link question. I believe it’s also linked to their other repeaters in their northern covered areas. I’m not sure exactly which one off the top of my head.
