Another lift chopper at the Chrysler plant. I can't see an N#? Looks like they're done for the day. I heard them talking earlier today, but didn't realize who it was.

Nice catch! I'm seeing those high voltage power towers in the background...no thanks!

Many times they use the helicopter to remove equipment they can't get out with the usual fork truck and rigging methods. They rig it through an opening in the roof.

Another lift chopper for FCA. He's working by the new plant near Jefferson & Conner.
N905CH S-61 out of Howell MI.
151.625 Air to Ground. Nothing heard yet, but I don't think they started yet. I might try to go over there. Said he'll be working the next 2 hours.

N704WK is back at 8 Mile & Mound. Had to land because an oil pressure light came on. Checked it out & is back up now.

N159AC Skycrane still doing more lifts today at GM Hamtramck.
151.925 I can hear him in Birmingham. Helping a friend clean up leaves.

I believe those frequencies are the stock frequencies in some Motorola radios when you buy them. They require an FCC license, but I doubt many people apply for them.

Edit: I believe we use the Motorola RVM-2040 handhelds at work. They're 2 watts, and 151.625 is the stock Channel 1.
