At 2024hrs MERCER CO EMS was dispatched to COZY CAMPGROUNDS ON GrandLake St. Marys ref to approx 50 y/o male was struck by lightning while on a cell phone. Was a witnessed strike. Squad 7 has CPR in progress and attempted Auto Defib x 2 Enroute to Coldwater Hospital............Hoser

When you take a hit like that, its usually not good. Their showing a chance for storms the rest of the week but its amazing how a lake like this will split storms........Hoser

I heard the same thing on the news tonite, listed in serious condition, he was a local guy 60 y/o from Montezuma which is where Cozy Campground is located. Hope he makes it, that would be one heck of a story to tell your Grandkids...............Hoser

UPDATE: subject that was struck passed away this last week in a Dayton Hospital.............Hoser
