Hello,
I have a small RS 20-176 antenna on my roof with a 5 foot mast (which is grounded). I used 25 ft of RG6 Quad Shield with an F type connector & adaptor on each end.
As far as "in line" surges & lightning arresting goes, can I use the COAX surge protection offered by the MONSTER power strips or APC Back up units?
They have coax surge protection in F type termination, which is offered for TV's I assume.
Would this be considered
(1) Good idea
(2) "better than nothing"... or
(3) A really bad idea
Thanks for your input.
