Just noticed Lincoln county sheriff has turned off DMR on 154.0475…and back with analog…not sure if temporary since their DMR quality has been absolutely terrible with many, many cases of dispatchers and field units asking for repeats since they could not understand the transmissions..I assume they will try to fix but it has been bad since they started so you would think it would have improved…anyone with any info?

DMR is over in LC as long as the current Sheriff has his way. Coverage issues, audio issues and reliability were all cited. There is no current intention to swap back.

I appreciate the replies! That’s what I thought. It’s about time someone stands up for safety rather than expensive radio uogrades that actually degrade communications.

So a lot of VHF Conventional out there. Could also use it for DMR-MARC, MedComm, RCM systems

Yes..thanks!.. actually have some of that programmed..along with Falmouth and some ham dmr which I want to try(I am licensed) but it was fun(?) listening to my local county on dmr while it lasted.
