Lincoln/Lancaster 911 down, Hams deployed

Hams deployed to busy intersections to radio in emergencies:

Lincoln, surrounding county 911 services disabled

This has been interesting, EOC is up and running, all hospitals went through an emergency radio check, fire stations are staffed with extra people, hams on street corners. What a day, I noticed things were pretty quiet this morning.

I haven't caught any serious happening, so luck has been with us. Still not resolved at this point.

We are hearing that it is pretty much statewide. Central Nebraska is out too.
