Today I was monitoring and they were working out of a mobile command post. I know they have been having radio trouble with radio maintenance techs on scene yesterday. Someone referred to channel #6. I know there is the simplex. The repeater. The tri-county network. Search and rescue (state wide?), and the Jail. That is Five. Any ideas?

Here's another data point to consider: The 154.71 has 4 different repeaters with different pl tones (Knox Butte, Hall's Ridge, Cougar Rock, Scott Mountain) and probably have 4 channel designators. 154.71 talk-around or simplex. 155.01 Tri-County Net. 155.805 SAR. That would be 7. Plus they might have neighboring agencies and fire freqs. Later!

I was down testing the headsets in the cmd rig, that may have been me you heard on the radio. LCSO has 2 more repeaters that are not listed above. The portable repeater, and the new one.
