Listening to Bardstown Kentucky NXDN?

Hello,

I originally wanted to buy a scanner to listen to RJ Corman RR in Bardstown, KY. However, I thought it would be nice to be able to listen to Fire/EMS dispatch as well In Nelson County Kentucky. The radio reference for Nelson County shows:

154.84500 WPEV993 RM 55 RAN Brdstwn FD Fire - Dispatch NXDN Fire Dispatch
154.84500 WPEV993 RM 118.8 PL Brdstwn FD Fire - Dispatch FMN Fire Dispatch

Does this mean I need an NXDN capable scanner to hear Bardstown Fire Dispatch?

Depending on conditions, I can hear Bardstown NXDN here in Louisville. I'm using a 536 scanner on an outside antenna.

Law enforcement is encrypted, so no hope there.
