I've noticed a sound in the background of some BART radio transmissions that sound like data being transmitted. I hear it mostly when the BartPD talkgroup comes up but I don't always hear it and it seems to be louder when the signal is less than optimal so I am wondering if its just my scanner not locking onto the signal correctly.
I have also noticed that some parts of the bart system have terrible radio reception. Orinda station seems to be particularly bad for me where most transmissions are very noisy when I am at that station even with my WM-889 antenna.
