Digital scanner. and..it sucks that the University of Missouri-Columbia just switched to Mototrbo. Lame. If they switch then the rest of the campuses will switch. So far, I enjoy listening to Rolla on P25.
Actually, no. You do not need a digital scanner to decode DMR. All you need is a scanner with a discriminator output to feed into your PC. The discriminator sends the raw audio through to the program that decodes it. That software is on your PC, so the scanner's format does not matter.
