Listening to Portland and Beyond Counties

Hello:

I was wondering if someone could tell me what do I need to monitor the Portland area and adjoining counties. Has everyone switched to 800 trunked or is there still some deps that use VHF and UHF
I was looking to listen to as I travel.
Clackamas
Washington
Portland City / Multnomah County
Columbia / Clark
Yamhill

If someone could help me I would appreciate it

Clackamas, Washington, East Yamhill (Newberg and Dundee ONLY): 800MHz analog trunked, all on the same system
Portland / Multnomah County: 700MHz digital & 800MHz analog trunked (700 system still in VERY LIMITED use)
Clark: 800Mhz Trunked
Columbia: VHF
Yamhill: UHF

Consult the database for frequency and talkgroup assignemnts:

What brand model scanner are you planning to use? I might be able to supply some files.

The 4 contiguous counties in the Portland area all use Motorola analog systems and all the police and fire departments have interoperability on each other's systems.

Although the RR database lists many sites, you need only the simulcast sites for each system. The control channels are listed below.

PORTLAND (Multnomah county) Not affected by rebanding.

28944 Fire Dispatch for all of Multnomah county
4528 OPS-1 Routine runs - medical, accidents, etc.
4560 OPS-2 A 2nd fire in Portland

4624 OPS-4 Fire in Gresham
4656 OPS-5 Fire in Corbett or Sauvie Island (both volly depts.)
4688 OPS-6 Major incident or pin-in
Simplex (direct) channels used in high rise or difficult buildings.

SIMPLEX 2 851.0375
SIMPLEX 3 851.9500
SIMPLEX 4 851.1750

CLACKAMAS county (Need Custom Band Plan for rebanding).

CLARK county, WA not affected by rebanding.

WASHINGTON county not affected by rebanding.
