There's interesting monitoring in the Pikes Peak area now on 38.80, 36.80, 38.35, 36.50 and 41.50 (all FM) as Army helos train for an Afganistan deployment. They're out of Butts AAF on Ft Carson. Your 800 Mhz rubber duck may not work too well but the 43 foot ham vertical in my back yard is super!

I heard 38.35, 36.50, and 138.15 AM simulcast w/the same traffic controller.

41.50 and 239.30 AM were simulcast w/the same traffic controller.

These were active today too:

138.950 AM
139.300 AM
142.600 AM
