Listening to the Tollways?

Someone mentioned the tollway freqs. in another thread.

I have always skipped it when programming, but I do spend a TON of time traveling on them. I figured it would be pretty slow, or boring.

What kind of stuff do you hear listening in on the tollway system? Is it worth programming in? Anything exiting?

While mostly traffic stops and crashes they occasionally get some interesting stuff. Try listening to the C-C channels if you are close enough.

By CC Channels, do you mean the following? (for patrol channels)

855.2375
855.4875
855.7375
855.9625
866.1625

I want to make sure I'm putting in the correct ones. :?

Sorry, "C-C" is Car to Car. These are the VHF channels as listed in the Profile. Most activity is on 154.650, 154.665 and 155.925, kind of depends on the location, mood of the officers and what interference they are recieving that day...
