Litchfield PD

So I noticed that Litchfield PD is approved / setup for use on a TRBO system and they are listed as “TE”, Which is totally encrypted, So are they switching over to this system and will no longer be dispatched through Hillsborough county?, Any thoughts on this?

They have been DMR for sometime (4 sites) now, but still patched/linked to the VHF (likely for Interop)

I don't know the end game on the dmr system for public safety, but so far the comms are encrypted for both pd and fd. The conventional frequencies are still being used.

No way they are using DMR as the primary for PD/FD, it would ruin the entire point of the NH Statewide Codeplug.

Its the other way around, VHF patched into the DMR. This is because every non PS agency in that town is on the trunk, schools, DPW, etc.
