Little help if possible please ??

I have a BC780 and I was trying to get control channel only mode to work. I was unsucessfull so I went back to the trunking system I already had. Well now I dont get audio in trunking mode. everything else works fine and even in trunking mod it lands on freqs and calls out my ID tags for the talk groups but no audio. I have gone as far as resetting the scanner several times but still no go. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Two simple things that may be overlooked is the volume level and
where your squelch threshold is set at.

Also, could these be private or I-calls , 7xxxxxx tg's (e.g.) ?

What system Moto I, II- VHF,UHF,800 , EDACS,LTR ?

Well to start off with I got it working, actualy it was working all along (It help to READ the manual) Anyway the control channel only problem is that the freq I chose was not a control channel. Once I found a valid controll channel it worked like a champ (Really cool feature by the way). As for the audio thing my scanner has monitor mode (Scan then trunk but no search) this mode shows signal but no audio, as soon as you go to search works just as it is suppose to. Thanks to all who tried to help.

Moral of the story READ THE DARN MANUAL !!!!!
