Does anybody know what LFD's channel 3 is? I dont see one listed in the database. Also, I show channel 6 as 1853 but when units request to switch to ch 6, there is no traffic on that ID. Anyone?

Let me do some research on Ch-3

Thanks for your help, I had 1049 as Douglas Co Fire Admin. I usually do most of my work and scanning up in FTC so being in the metro area kinda puts me out of my zone. Looks like the RRDB is missing entries for LFD Ch-3 and Ch-5. I know for sure that there is a Ch-3 since Ive heard fire personnel reference it on the air.

LFG 3 and LFG 5

I show LFG 3 as 1057 and LFG 5 as 1059. For some reason the database has both of these listed as firegrounds under Douglas County.

That's it Luke, exactly as I have them listed and programmed.

I think I'm in the same boat as skipshark...I've got 1049 as Douglas's C6 with 1057 and 1059 as Douglas channels C3 and C5 respectively. So 1046, 1057, and 1059 are Littleton FDs and not Douglas County's, right?

Leaving Douglas fire (not including dispatch) with -
1061 FG7
1063 FG9
1065 FG11
1861 Ops13

Question remains on Littleton fire, are these correct IDs and tags? -
1857 FG2
1859 FG4
1853 FG6
1855 Fg7

This is the way I have them listed. I monitor them 24/7, so this should be pretty accurate-

The Database for the most part is correct

DC Fire-
1051-Admin-16 not used since Metcom
1053-Dispatch
1055-Dispatch-2 used as the admin channel
1057-OPS-3
1059-OPS-5
1061-OPS-7
1063-OPS-9 usually training
1065-OPS-11 used as a MAC with Littleton and/or Metcom
1861-OPS-13 old MAC. not used since Metcom
1862-TAC-3 DC Fire, Aurora MAC
1864-TAC-4 DC Fire, Aurora MAC

DC Fire Conventional-Digital Simplex FG's-
856.2625-FG-4 and FG-12
857.2625-FG-8
858.2625-FG-6 and FG-14

Littleton Fire-
1851-Dispatch "Control-1"
1853-Special Assignment CH-6 (not FG)
1855-Special Assignment CH-7 (not FG)
1857-"Channel-2"
1859-"Channel-4"
1046-OPS-4 MAC with West Metro mainly
1049-"Channel-6"

Littleton dispatchers do not refer to their channels as FG's or OPS. They instead
will say, for example,"This will be a Channel 2 assignment"

I am not aware of a "Littleton" Channel-3. Could be a new one though. Keep listening.

Metcom/South Metro is correct as listed in Database.

1047 calling it Ops 9 for training
1048 as well but can't id yet
1861 Ops 13

Littletons' channel 4 is "C-4" on their radios, so I would say they call it that for clarification purposes

I have also heard LFD use:

1047 calling it Ops 9 for training Yup
1048 as well but can't id yet Yes, unknown, LFD is using
1861 Ops 13 Listed above
1867 FG-9 Training Metcom has been using this one most recently

There are other "Training" TG's That I didn't list. I will if anyone wants them.

thanks alot guys, this is great! I would be interested in the training TG's, just for completionist reasons.

[Edit]: Ive been working on a channel plan grid from an older post involving SMFR. It is included as an attachment here if you all want to play around with it. Ive made educated guesses at some of the TG's.

I know this was an old posting but it didn't seem like the FG3 & FG5 question was answered so here we go... For Littleton, MetCom & Douglas County any "Fire Ground" is a simplex channel paired with a repeated "Operations" channel. The default for any Littleton or South Metro incident is to go to the repeated channel unless there are radio problems or a group / division needs an extra channel.

Littleton
Ops 2 is paired with FG3
Ops 4 is paired with FG5
Ops 7 is paired with FG8 *FG8 is also assigned to Skyline for training and talk around use
Ops 9 is normally used for training but will serve for special events or incidents also
Ops 10 is designated as the special event channel TG# 1048

MetCom Pairs -
Ops 3 - FG2
Ops 5 - FG4
Ops 7 - FG6
Ops 9 - FG8

DC Fire Pairs -
Ops 3 - FG4
Ops 5 - FG6
Ops 7 - FG8
Ops 9 - FG10 (designated for training)
Ops 11 - FG12
Ops 13 - FG14
