• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

LITTLETON - A routine call for a fire in a garage took a dramatic turn Wednesday when a body was found after crews put out the flames.

The fire broke out in the garage of a home at 8065 S. Logan Drive.

Investigators said that the body of 13-year-old Jessica Meyer was found in the garage.

Meyer had just finished the 8th grade at Powell Middle School.

According to Littleton Police, her body was not in a vehicle, and the only vehicle in the garage was a motorcycle. They say the motorcycle was not associated with the fire.

Investigators say Meyer was the only person home at the time.

The cause of the fire is under investigation and Littleton Police say they are treating this case as a suspicious death.

The fire was confined to the garage.
