Gentlemen,

It terms of anything to do with scanning in New York City, before asking, try looking arround www.n2nov.net In this specific case, scroll down to and click on the hyperlink titled "NYC Broadcast Media Related Frequencies" and look for frequencies tagged "Helo" "Chopper" or any of the Traffics.

Has anyone verified activity on the list with respect to helo ops? I did an fcc search and some of the frequencies listed seem to be repeater inputs but not positive. So if anyone activly listens to the Ny news frequencies and has a verified list it would be appreciated.

Frequencies used by news media are not always (often?) used as repeater pairs. Much of the traffic is simplex. If they license a "repeater pair" it gives them two simplex channels to use, simultaneously if they need to. There is no requirement that repeaters must be used.
