I am trying to live stream. i just got an amplified charger for my G5 . i get a like a mic chunk sound when they key up. i only get it through when i have a line out of the back of the amplified charger to my mic port on my computer. i tried switch to an external audio xonar u7. it did the same thing. i tried different volumes too. i am using scannercast. i hear the mic chuck sound before i even go live feed.
besides that it sounds good.
thank for any help.

Do you have a transformer type ground loop isolator (Radio Shack) between your amplified speaker and the sound card input? Without it you can damage the speaker amp and/ or sound card.

From what I have read in the Unification forum this is common on the amplifier unit.try using a line in instead of mic in if you have one.
The external sound card has one. i just tried it . it is still doing it..
I will let it run for a little bit tonight so you can hear it.
Hilliard Dispatch. they are not too busy tonight. haha
thank you for the reply

Try using RadioFeed or b.u.t.t and adjusting the gain in the program vs volume setting of radio. I have found that more volume on radio and less gain in app helps. I guess you could do the same thing with the Windows mixer.

I use RadioFeed as well and have found it works a lot better than Scannercast. If I get a chance tonight I will listen to them on my G4 and your feed if it comes back online.
