live fire feed recording

I,m monitoring a three alarm fire on dublin street ,But i,m also recording it so other members can listen to it ,My question is how do you put the feed in a post or any other post besides fire,I have tried to drag it ,But it did not work ,does any one how to do this.When the fire is over i will want to post it that is if people would like to hear it .Thanks

That is a good question. I have my scanner to do a live feed over the net. I would do a search on google do a search how to put a audio file on line. Unless you have your website and make it a mp3 file instead a wav. I haven't done a audio feed before online I had to get help to hook mine up to the net....

I have digitized incidents using the HardDiskOgg program. Then I posted them to firerad2@googlegroups.com if they are under 1 MB (approx 10 minutes) in size. (Firerad2 is my list that deals with fire communications issues). Peter Sz

I'm using icecast2, winamp and dyndns updater also have oddcast v3. I'm using that for a scanner to go online.
