It would be neat though to have a live feed from the Horry Co. system. I think many folks would enjoy that, I know I would. Oh well, maybe some day............until then, well just have to make our routine trips to the beach!!

I actually did have Horry Co. TRS setup on the ARC EzStream Server software with a Uniden 246T but I had to use the laptop for work related issues , not sure if I will setup another one. I might though , will post anyway if I do. It was way cool , went to Wimington,NC and set the client up on a friends pc and we sat there and listened to it for a few - worked good. I'm not sure if I want to have a dedicated feed on my mini tower. Maybe in a few weeks I'll run some testing and see if I can handle one on here if so I'll let the forum know.

I am testing streaming of Columbia, SC fire department audio at the below address. I am having problems getting it to work with Firefox, but it is working fine with IE. If you want to play around with it and let me know what you think, feel free too. It will be up and down some I'm sure until I get all the bugs out. Right now it's running on my pro-96 as a temporary solution until I get my analog only base scanner back from my sister's house. If you are listening live in Columbia and comparing what you hear over the air to the feed, the feed is running 10 or so seconds behind real life. All of the CFD talk groups from Palmetto 800 on the Richland simulcast site are been streamed.

Hooray! The first live scanner feed out of SC! (That I know of anyway). One day I hope to set one up myself. Kudos to grcjsc! I hope this inspires others in the state.

I only hope that people enjoy it. Lots of work to do to get it all the way I want it. I hope to build a nice front end page and hopefully get it all on computer. Right now the streaming is running on my main desktop and the web server is a separate dedicated web server / file server. Eventually I'll put a sound card in the server and stream from their, until then you may notice some stability issues. I use the laptop 90% of the time so the desktop being taxed isn't hurting that much, just can't run trunker and stream at the same time.

Quick update. I have the feed running on the Pro-2052 now. The audio sounds much better coming off the 2052 and I have my Pro-96 back for standard use.
