I am having some issues with my Newberg feed and I have a theory but wanted to see if any agree and how to fix it. It is scanning on a BCT8 with outside antenna. I have all frequencies of the washington county system programmed and I think it might be picking up a tower that is just a little further away. The feed will be scratchy at times and the next transmission might be just fine. I have several other scanners on their telescoping antennas and work great.

From what I've heard on the air, they've been having problems with coverage in Dundee. Fire and PD units were saying that the could hardly hear people down there. Where I am, it will sound a bit scratchy and then it will be perfectly fine too. I've noticed that when units are in Dundee, they aren't affiliating with the original Newberg site, they're staying on the Washington simulcast, and since the Dundee hills block line of site to the Bald Peak tower, I would think their signal drops significantly.
