Livonia TRS mystery

Took my scanner OUT of trunk mode and noticed that frequency 868.300 on Livonia’s trunked system has been continuously transmitting "dead air" (except when the system chooses it for voice traffic) for the past several days. This odd behavior isn't noticeable when in trunked mode, or on Unitrunker, and doesn't seem to have any affect on how the system operates because it is still used in the voice channel rotation.

Anyone else noticed this or have any ideas as to what may be going on?

I hear it to, but its not causing any problems so i wouldnt worry about it. I dont know what is causing it either.

Sounds like the transmitter is hung in tx mode but the system controller hasn't busied it out & still uses it.

I heard something similar on a TRS out my way & after a couple days, I contacted the system's administrator to let them know. They were pretty appreciative, so you might want to contact them.
