I still have Direct Connect as I was a carry-over customer from Nextel. It is offered by Sprint. It does NOT do as good as the old iDen Nextel, but it does work.

You can still use direct connect from phone to phone without having to go through cel towers....

I did a search on city-data and I couldnt find any frequencies for Lizard Lick Towing.
All I found was a microwave tower and I doubt that is related.Anyone else live nearby have close call?
