LML highway (MOH) channels 12.5 or 25k?

Hi,

I am listening to the MOH channels and all the crap they are dealing with during the storms. Audio is really choppy at times and wondering if they are 25 kHz and not 12.5kHz. Anyone aware?
It was my understanding that all users had to migrate to 12.5kHz and these channels wouldn't be an exception.

British Columbia - BC Ministry of Highways Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference (radioreference.com) shows as FM and not NFM like most others are.

They could be outdated. Look at the History page. Nothing has changed in many years.

To the best of my knowledge, they are still FM, not NFM, and agree audio is no longer the best. Nothing has changed in years and I discovered (on Close Call) that one of the contractors in FV are using 143.000 CSQ for simplex stuff , other contractors have other simplex/duplex pairs they use as well.

Thanks for the responses everyone. Guessing there are a few repeaters covering the Lower Mainland. Hwy ch 1 sounds like its TCH, Hwy 91, Hwy 99. Not sure which channel covers the valley yet but could be my location that's preventing me from hearing it.

Highway 99 Ch 4 for sure t-77.0 where I am I can hear them. Horseshoe Bay to Pemberton, Ch 2 143.295 t-77.0 Vancouver Island lower Inner Coast.
Further review of licenses show they are still 16K W/B, so there you go.

Yea, MOTI is wideband. The narrowband mandate only applies to the US, not Canada.

Plug in the 4 repeater outputs, should not be long before you hear something.

MOTI are usually low level, with smallish coverage areas. Depending where you are, and where the repeater is, you might not be able to hear all the way up to Hope.

Would be nice to see an updated map for the Lower Mainland.

They use Channel 21 - 142.995 (77.0 PL) in the Eastern Fraser Valley.
