Well I bit the bullet and purchased 100 feet of LMR400 Coaxal cable. Put a dent in the wallet but I am very pleased with the results. Installed yesterday and connected to my SDS200. Much better signal strength and clarity. I went from r6 that needed adapters to complete the connections. I was having issues with distant transmissions. This cleared it up. My thanks to all who gave suggestions on earlier posts. I purchased the coax from Scanner Master in Massachusetts. The owner was very helpful also as I was talking to him. I have made previous purchases with him and as always quick shipping.

Maybe the above post could be put in the Wiki along with other similar posts debating RG-6 vs LMR400.

In my opinion RG-6 is fine for your TV antenna, satellite LNB(F) to receiver and maybe your HF dipole, but not your VHF/UHF/800 scanner antenna unless that antenna came with a 300 to 75 ohm transformer with F connector. And I would use RG-11 on that.
