I just bought the Uniden BC125AT & I have programmed my local frequencies but I'm not picking up transmissions on any of them. The only other traffic I pick up on other frequencies when scanning/searching is static or strange noises. I never pick up any talking. I've had a really hard time setting the scanner up so I'm not sure if I've done something wrong or what, but I feel like I just blew a bunch of money for nothing. I'm not very tech savvy so please try to explain things as simply as possible.
