I founds those too but what I was wondering is what Brand of radio are they using and is it on a repeater system or are they running simplex?

I seen a few they carried but they are very small, about the size of a pack of cigarets.

The local hospital here is on UHF in the 460's. The nurses have a two channel radio. One to talk to the nurses station and a second channel to talk to maint. The only radios I have seen them carry here are Motorola P110's. The channels used here are simplex. The only repeater they talk on is to EMS enroute with a patient.

Most of the hospital radio traffic is on the cell phone now here in Illinois.
