Trying to find my local police frequencies, I’m assuming they are encrypted that’s why I cannot locate them. Any help would be appreciated I’m in NJ Burlington county

That is correct. All police departments in Burlington County are encrypted. Burlington County Public Safety (P25) Trunking System, Burlington County, New Jersey
There is a lot of state police activity in your area, and they are not encrypted. They can be heard here.

Something that can be listened to in Burlington County is SPEN 1- 154.680 PL 131.8..
This is countywide police alerts.
Also even though the Burlington Bridge Commission police is encrypted, District 48 Tacony Palmyra Bridge and District 49 Burlington Bristol Bridge use 151.010 PL 127.3 their ancient Simplex VHF F2 that even before they went encrypted they used most of the time..
..they don't do car stops on it or run tags but they talk to the bridge operators to prepare for and conduct bridge openings. The bridge operators are also on Marine Channel 13 and talk to the ships so you know when there's going to be an opening.
