Local radio stations on close call?

I was messing with my BR330T on "close call only" and something weird happened.
Only while it's plugged into the ac adapter, when I move it close to my dresser it finds a local radio station at 100.2mhz.

Am I close to a transmitter or is this a fluke?

The cable is probably acting like a counterpoise and is increasing the signal level the receiver is seeing.

I get them all the time on mine... it runs on battery all the time but I'm picking them up on close call.

usually youre picking up the station's "STL" or studio to transmitter link, they usually use a parabolic antenna in the 940 mhz range
