Does anyone know of an electronics store in North Florida (even Central Florida) that sells Uniden scanners in-store?
I live in Jacksonville and I am considering the BC396T as my first digital scanner.
I like being able to just walk in a store and look at a product that I might buy maybe a couple of times before I actually purchase it (in other words, window shop) the same as I've done with all my Radio Shack scanners and antennas. Just one of my quirks, I guess.
I might add this question to those of you who monitor digital talkgroups in Jacksonville:
Do you feel it's worth buying a $500 scanner to listen to digital?
I know the shear amount of features that a BC396T has makes it worth the purchase but how much time to you spend listening to digital stuff as opposed to everything else?
