Can some tell me what driving CNR means and what is PBA stand for when they give traffic stop location?

PBA - Place Of Business Address - "I'lll have a stop at the PBA, Food Lion on Mahaley on NC XXX-XXX. The dispatcher will then enter the location of the stop as the numerical address of the business (123 Mahaley Ave) is how it's used in Rowan County if I'm hearing right.
We always used PVA as Public Vehicle Area, meaning parking lot. “Show me out in the PVA of Walmart”

With my hearing they could very well be saying PVA instead of PBA constant ringing in my ears and hearing loss makes for bad dispatchers. Too many times saying 10-9 meant its retirement time.

Yes, originally from the western end of NY State; but been below the Mason-Dixon line for over 40 years now. Was in seacoast NH for 1-1/2 years, came back fast when I had the chance.
