Location Settings on HP-1

I'm just curious. I don't use my HP except by my easy chair, never mobile. I have all of my location controls on my FLs to "no". Is that how most people who never move their scanner use the "location" setting?

I have 3-4 FLs for county / rural town public safety systems 60 miles away which I can pick up with my outside STN2 antenna.
