I didn't notice this in prior use but it is there and not a specific scanner issue.
The Location Settings in Sentinel don't save from one profile to another.
I travel full time and use locations to ease updating without having a specific profile for many locations.
Is this a "bug" or maybe a nice to have feature, to have saved locations tag along with the profile and can be used in other profiles.
Or, does someone have a workaround how to get locations from one to another profile.

On another note, just got my 150 and yeah, I am liking it for many reasons.1780430152868.png

When I created my profiles, I save the dirst one then save as and name the new profile then make the necessary changes then click save again. The location settings save with the profile and shoe up when I load a different profile.

What version Sentinel are you on? I am assuming you are on the most recent but I always ask before getting into the weeds troubleshooting

I opened a SDS100 profile. Then plugged the SDS150 in and it changed the target automagically I beleive. The locations were not there. Maybe it needs to be done in a specific order? Or something I did incorrectly.
But I thought this happens with my 436 and 100. I just haven't played with the profiles in a long time now.

I presume that you have certain Favorites Lists associated with a location, and then other Favorites Lists associated with a different location and so on?

Have you considered using Startup/Configuration keys? Location A would have Startup Key 1, Location B would be Startup Key 2, etc. All you'd need to do is power down the scanner, the power it back up while holding the desired number button down.

Of course GPS scanning is the best possible solution.
