Locked up ws 1080

I was trying to upgrade my ws1080 and i do not it i pulled card or what happen but it all locked up ? it has on the front of it up boot f1.1and than up app ver none than
cpu sw upgrade error turn off i can not do nothing it is locked up ?

I was trying to program my scanner and I do not know what happen I think I pulled the USB out and now it all locked up? On the screen it says up boot ver:f1.1 Up app ver: none
cpu sw upgrade: waiting for the usb ?

Sounds like your scanner lost the CPU firmware and is stuck in the firmware update mode. Save the attached zipped file to your computer and extract. Connect your scanner to the computer and run the extracted program.

Unplug the scanner from the USB cord. Take out the batteries. Let it sit for awhile. Put the batteries back in. It should go back to a blank screen.

DO NOT TURN THE SCANNER ON!

Plug the USB cord into the scanner. DO NOT TURN THE SCANNER ON! Plug into the PC. An icon should appear on the bottom of your PC. It will show that the USB cord has connected. Bring up the EZScan software.

At the very top of the software, click on Updates, click on Check for all updates. Allow it to do all updates and upgrades. The scanner will tell you when it's finished. DO NOT UNPLUG THE USB CORD. When all updates/upgrades have finished, click on done/finished in the software. Then click on the icon and click on remove safely. Then your scanner should work.
