Hello, I have the trx-1 model and the problem I have is that it has been blocked and everything is checked, cable, driver,sd card, ect ...
can someone help me, thanks.:unsure:

Try this: Turn the scanner off. Connect the scanner to the computer. Go to the Updates tab in TRX-1 EZ Scan software and Check for CPU Firmware Update. You have lost the CPU firmware.

Thanks for the help tvengr but this notice skips me as if I did not recognize it, I do not know.-also it won't let me turn off the scanner.

Looking at the error messages you are getting makes me think there is an issue with your cable or driver, because it keeps telling you to connect the cable tells me it is not recognizing it.

Couple things to check, in the computers device manager check the USB ports and make sure it is showing with no errors. Also you can try downloading the software from Whistler's Download Page and make sure everything is up to date, reinstall the driver and try the CPU Firmware Installer (CPUUpdater_TRX1_U5.8.exe) listed on that page.

You might need to unplug it and remove batteries to turn off, then start again using the suggestions in the post above.

If I have removed the batteries but when I reconnect it with the cable, the update menu appears on the scanner.

Have you done everything suggested in Post 5? It will probably continue until we fix the cause.

I'm off to work, hope you will get it working before I return.

Glad to hear you got it working. Your first post said it all. The screen shot displayed uP App Ver: NONE, That means no firmware. If you ever run into that problem again, just go to whistlergroup.com to get the updater.

Looks like you used the TRX-1e CPU Updater. That is for use outside of North America as the band plans are different.

ECB85 user profile indicates their location as Spain so having the E version seems to be appropriate.
Please be sure to use the E version of EZ Scan when programming and select a country bandplan that is most appropriate to your needs..

Sorry I didn't notice you were in Spain. When you said you had the TRX-1, I gave you the link to the TRX-1 updater. There is a different updater for the TRX-1E.
