locking on talkgroup

Hello,
My 996xt keeps on locking up on a talkgroup and sits there,and other talkgroups go through it.I am just wondering if mu scanner might be going haywire or if this just radio waves causing this.

It sounds like the dispatcher may be patching different talk groups into one.

It sounds like you might have squelch set too low and possibly end code detect disabled.

ok turned on end code and digital end code,I have been monitoring this system without it for a long time and never had any problems till lately
