If I read everything right from RR.com and the manual all I have to do to disable the stalker or the search is hit the func button then hit l/o and it disbales this limit search or put the radio back in regular scanning mode?
Locking out or turning off Signal Stalker 2 or a Por-197

I am confused as to what you are inquiring.
Do you have SS assigned to an object that the scanner is stopping on, and you do not want it to do that anymore? Press L/O to temporarily disable it (it will revert to scanning that object the next time you turn the scanner off and then on). Or, as you mentioned, to permanently disable that object, press FUNC-->L/O.
Or do you need to know how to stop SS once it begins, as the sole function of the scanner (i.e. not while set as an object in scan mode)? In that case, press SCAN to resume scanning (and exit SS or Search mode).

I'm sorry Meth. I wasn't clear....what I think was assign it a object because as it scans it includes signal stalker as if it were a scan list. Then once it starts it gets stuck on the birdies or the frequencies like 25.000 htz? I tried to hit function then lock out but the next time it scans it does it again. I was wondering if I should just reprogram the scanner to my last file I saved and see if that would erase what I did?
