Does anyone in Stanly county know if Locust City PD has its own freq or is it Stanly Sheriff that gives patrol for Locust?

Locust has its own police force, although I "think" they use the county repeaters.

Locust PD is also licensed for 460.275 MHz

I have that freq programmed in but have never received a hit on it....They must be somewhere else....tnx...

Yes Locust has a frequency licensed for 460.275 Mhz.

At one time it was operational with a PL of 88.5 Hz. I have it programmed into my two-way but some how it does not appear to be working.

As far as dispatch goes they are still on the Stanly County Sheriiff Frequency of 453.325 Mhz.

The following units can be identified by the numbers:

200- Sheriff Units
300- Norwood Police Units
400- Oakboro Police Units
500- Misenheimer (Phifer University) Police Units
600- Stanfield Police Units
700- Locust Police Units
800- Badin Police Units

Hope this helps
