"On January 25, 2005, Detective Sergeant Thomas L. Cochran answered his final call. While responding to assist with a barricaded subject call, Sgt. Cochran was involved in an auto accident and succumbed to his injuries on January 26, 2005. There is no greater love than a man that would lay down his life for another. Lawrenceburg Police Department Det. Sgt. Thomas L. Cochran, Unit 203, is 10-42. He has gone home for the final time."

I did not know Sgt. Cochran, nor am I from Lawrenceburg, but I keep interest in the SAFE-T system and what goes on in my home state. This was originally posted to the SAFET Yahoo group by scanner-freak and he gave me permission to repost it here. I thought some might like to hear the recording he posted, so I have mirrored it on a personal server and posted the link above.
