Bergen County Trunking System, Bergen County, New Jersey

It's a Phase II system so you would need a Phase II capable scanner
Thanks for the info. I guess I didn't read the small print. They’re on the Bergen County TRS full-time. That’s why those are labeled as backups. There is also an explanation of that in the database.

ThanksI was up in the area a few months ago, and they were active.
Hopefully someone closer to the area can chime in, and confirm.

Additional on Heights. Someone has kerchunked their repeater twice in last couple of days but no activity this am and, it's rush hour....active on that channel, nothing has changed.

I'd be happy to explain. The term "Kerchunk" refers to someone keying their radio to bring up a particular repeater but not talking. If you're listening you hear a squawk or squelch tail but no conversation. With the Hasbk Heights Police frequency someone keyed the repeater a couple of times but there was no police activity that I could hear on that frequency.Could you explain plainly what you are talking about?
EDIT: Additional info and details.

Back in my early days of Ham Radio we had a club president down in Richmond Va who had a pet peeve about local hams "Kerchuncking" the local repeater.Hope this helps.
