Yeah, you're off an hour.

Me: 0000z = 6pm
0300z = 9pm
So, I set my "Users GMT offset: -6" on the database.

Yours should be set to ?

I'd set that to -8 or something. Too late to figure out without my slide rule.

Yeah, that noise on the upper frequencies sounds like video. What if you turn your monitor off? My monitor is pretty noisy, but tolerable. Not all are equal. In my basement shack, I kept swapping out monitors until I found the quietest one. On my old Win98 computers I even had to dig around in the power supplies and put bypass caps in to reduce computer noise. This time, though, I think it's my neighbor. I can see a fluorescent light on in one of her windows. She'll turn it off eventually and I'll see if that's really it. Ages ago, I had a bad power insulator on the power lines and my noise was S9+20! ARGH! I was pulling my hair out, so I called the power company. Two days later my noise was S1. Ahhhhh, bliss. When I'm driving in the mobile, with the big 75 meter whip on the car, I listen to the power line noise and it fades in and out about every 100 ft, then gone. I get so spoiled because if I want to DX from the mobile, I just move! LOL

Naw it happens even when all my TVs and computer are off. I have power poles not 20 feet from my windows and I live on a main route and there's cable TV lines running by me too-and I am sure they have signal amps and one is nearby. God only knows what all that is doing to me.

9450khz 1200z s/on Sounds like WYFR in Mandarin. Very fluttery so probably from China or that part of world. Not on the spreadsheet at all.

Ridge: With that noisy location, try a loop antenna sometime. Something quick and easy like a 20 feet of wire simply fed with coax. Just to see if it's quieter. If it works, great ... make it permanent. Doesn't work? Not much time invested.

Before leaving for work this morning Radio New Zealand was booming in on 9765 at 0930z. They have the new schedule for Nov. 2010 to March 2011 on their website.

I here you brother. I am apartment bound and the radio room is 20' from the the main power/phone/cable lines. Also my neighbors plasma tv kills everything when its running. I played around wih a ANC -4 with no luck. I would like to mess with a Wellbrook but I still need to eat.I need my neighbor asleep and good band conditions to make things happen. I use to to be able to go a vacant lot nearby and string 150' of speaker wire and be in dx heaven. The homeless took over the lott so I am SOL.

Ah someone who shares my pain:) but when it's good it's great! Like this morning Botswana was coming in steady, and right now I have Radio Netherlands with a beautiful signal on 15315khz:) I think they are signing off now-yup there they went! Anyways I'm living with it and I am hopeful you can pull some good DX there as well!

May also have CKZU Vancouver on freq. as well, underneath. All these years and I've NEVER heard them before! Oh yeah, I'm on LSB because 6165khz is S9+40db and these guys are only about S9.
