Greeting,
I see that Logan UT has a pair of 5 watts radio listed as WQBD340.
They call them "Events". the frequencies are 154.8525 and 159.0975MHz CALLSIGN: WQBD340
Does anyone know exactly what they are be utilized for?
Parades, stake out, maybe local communications between two department or maybe road construction....

These are used generally for special events - especially the Cruise In, parades, etc. Not used for anything "covert" - will be interesting to see how/if used as the city converts to UCAN - which is under way
