I am wanting to log all talk groups on an LTR Trunked system. I want to be able to monitor the system for a week or two and then be able to review the log to see which talk groups are used for that time period. I have an HP-2 with the extreme upgrade, a PRO-97 that does LTR and an SDS-100. I need opinions on the most effective way to do this.

Thought?
Ideas?

Thanks in advance,
Dave

I will be using external.
Are you attaching one scanner at a time to your external antenna and logging on the scanner? Proscan would help allot better logging from your SDS100. Not sure if your HP-2 is supported on proscan. But a multiport like the Stridsberg 4 port would enable you to use the external antenna with all 3 of your scanners at the same time. Just got mine in. Just waiting on some coax to hook them together.

One scanner at a time. I'm going to have to drag my SDS100 over there and try it out.

Needs a scanner that provides flat audio or an SDR dongle though.
