I have a PSR 500, attempting to use Pro96Com program to log a control channel. Can anyone tell me how I do step 3 listed below in PSR 500 talk? Does this mean hit the tune button and put in a control freq or what?

Using the GRECOM PSR-500 or PSR-600 as a decode radio:
1. In the Edit Menu, select the Decode Options item, and set the correct
serial port for your USB cable and set the Decoding scanner type to PSR-
500/PSR-600.
2. Connect the USB serial cable to your computer and your scanner.
3. Tune to an active control channel in a TSYS object using the Analyze
feature of the scanner.
4. Click on the Read Data from Radio button.

Thanks
Bill

Use the up or down arrow keys until you find a control channel. Keep in mind that Pro96Com only supports 9600bps P25 control channels at this time.
