Why do we need to log into the database and forums separately? It would seem to me that once logged into the site you could navigate both parts with one log-in.

I have had to since I joined the site. No big deal, I would like to see it changed if Lindsay could manage it though.

Actually the main part of the site, the forums, and the Wiki are all seperate systems and all require seperate logging in; however, you must use the same login information at all three. Somewhere down the road they will all be tied together, but not yet.

Well...yeah.
If you don't log out, you don't have to login (unless the site goes through a software update or you erase your cookies.)

Folks,

It is the same username and password across all three resources:

1. Portal (general site, databases etc)

2. Forums

3. Wiki

However, you must individually log in to each resource. Typically, once you are logged in, you should stay logged in. In addition, you should be managing your password at the following link:

http://www.radioreference.com/apps/account

If you need to change your password, changing it there will update all 3 systems. You if you need to RESET your password (i.e. you forgot etc), use this link:

http://www.radioreference.com/apps/account/?action=reset

This will also reset your password in all 3 locations.

Both these links are on the home page of the site. If you have a problem resetting or changing your password, head on over to:

http://www.radioreference.com/apps/help/

Thanks!

Lindsay

Lindsay I suggest you make this a sticky. It's very likely this will come up again
